baby and ducks

Well, to begin the post... Robert and I found out what we are having. A baby. Just kidding, we already knew that (though I would debate that it feels more like an alien). But we will be having a baby boy. In fact, that was the FIRST thing we saw with the ultrasound; our baby was balancing on his head with his butt in the air. The ultrasound was so fun! I enjoyed watching my baby kick me... For those of you with patience, I put the video up. It runs about 3 minutes... the best part is in the middle when he pushes off the side of me to flip over. I thought it would make it more real when I felt the baby kicking, but it honestly feels like an alien trying to break through me. The ultrasound was what made it more real.

When we got home from the doctor, we were baffled by two ducks next to our apartment. There is a lake next to the complex, but we live in the middle of the complex so ducks don't generally wander around near us. I grabbed some popcorn and fed the ducks for a while. I love ducks.

d-backs

We went to the Dbacks game with Jess & Cami and Michael & Stacy. How fun! Free hats to the first 35,000 guests. Score! I was a little put out when we arrived; our seats were directly in the sun and I didn't bring sunscreen or much water. I was dehydrated and nearly passed out, but I blame that on the pregnancy. After getting a refreshing beverage, I was able to better enjoy myself while working on my tan... er sunburn. During the 7th inning stretch, Robert and Jess caught two of the t-shirts thrown to the crowd (poor Michael... nothing to show). We finished off the game by going out to Chili's for dunch/linner. Go Dbacks!

something new

Well... I haven't posted for a while and I know how I get frustrated when my friends haven't made any new posts so viola! Recently, no new changes have come across our path. We are both continuing on in school; the end of the semester is only a few weeks away! Robert will probably be at ASU next semester and I will be graduating from ASU in December! Robert is working hard at the credit union and may have the opportunity to receive a new position (but we won't jinx that yet). We are looking into moving into either a condo, townhome, or house... something in which to build equity. We may wait until this semester is over so as to save ourselves the stress of school, work, AND moving. I am now three months pregnant and feeling relatively great (but everyone knows I always find something to complain about). The only difficulty thusfar with pregnancy is NOT being ablt to fit in any of my clothes. Looks like it is time for Robert to invest in a maternity wardrobe...
