I just had to post that I am DONE with school! Well, I still have a final, but even if I flunk that I will still graduate! I can't believe I am finished with college; I never thought I would graduate.
Joel is two months old today. I would say that I can't believe it, but I can. He is two months old, 25 inches long, and 15 pounds. Yes, my child is gigantic (I am the one who has to carry the little hippo around). He has been in size 3 diapers for over 2 weeks; he just hit size 6-9 months in clothes. It is a bit ridiculous. Thank you to everyone who gave me cute little clothes. Unfortunately he can no longer wear them, which makes me extremely sad.
I will post pictures and such later... I have a sleeping (snoring) baby on my lap at the moment.

- Leigh
- Robert and Leigh both grew up in Mesa, AZ. Robert served his mission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil while Leigh did humanitarian work in Beira, Mozambique. They met in August of 2006 at a mutual friend's party; the first thing Leigh said to Robert was "shut up and kiss me!" in Portuguese! They were married June 2nd of 2007 in the Mesa temple. On October 8th of 2008, they were blessed with the birth of their first baby, Joel. On September 30th of 2009, they welcomed their second baby, Lucas, to the world. On May 25th of 2011, their third little baby boy, Daniel, was born.

Hey, Leigh! Congrats on finishing school! I'm so proud of you! Your baby is so cute! Now, tell me, I thought his name was Joel, with just a long o, (jol), but someone said they thought they heard you say jo-el, with a long o sound and then a short e sound. I just want to know so I don't say his name wrong. Do you pronounce both vowels in your baby's name?

I know from experience having a chunky/tall baby that grew way too fast- but Children's Place at Arizona Mills has DANG good deals a lot of the time. We stock up cause we know he just keeps growing, we get shorts/shirts for like 2-3$ each. Just thought I would let you know if you didn't already cause it can get expensive buying new clothes all the time!
Yay for school being over! Congratulations. Glenn and I missed you (and Joel) in institute today.
Your awesome Leigh! Now you can relax! By the way- Whenever I hear the the song, "I want a a hippo. for Christmas" I think of you. My little hippo won't be here for 6 more weeks. But I'm okay with that. She can't come until after christmas.
